"Scratches head..." I was suggesting it to the OP /helpop is apart of this addon and I did not see a way to detect if users are in the "op" list via permission.

The only thing I could think of with out the OP's advice was adding the player to the op.txt in bukkit, but thats why I suggested it.

 

Im only not able to do /setspawn , but other uses are able to teleport at will to anyone witch is annoying.

 

I'm using the latest version of CraftBukkit with this plugin.
I love how it works, as when I came to CraftBukkit, I was disappointed that none of the commands that I were used to being built in with hmod were there, took quick look through the forum, and found this!

**BUG** (Not sure if it's been mentioned before)
It seems that the welcome message isn't working very well.
I find that it often is saying the wrong name.
Ex.
Bob logs in and is greeted with "Welcome Bob"
Joe logs in and is greeted with "Welcome Bob" and walks away awfully confused.
If Bob relogs at this point, he is still greeted correctly. (Welcome Bob)
If Joe relogs at this point, he is still incorrectly greeted. (Welcome Bob)

 

Yeah, I came looking for someone else with this problem... my users are reporting they cannot use /msg

Yeah, I had the exact same issue with Nicknames so I just disabled Nick. I haven't noticed that with the welcome message yet. But then again, I wasn't looking for it...

 

@seriosbrad Looked through the sourcecode and added

You could try reloading the essentials plugin with /plugin reload

Please take another look at the OP for extra /plugin use details

 

Ugh, I ended up removing MCDocs and just using Essentials MOTDand Rules because Essential kept taking over. Even with it disabled and no Permissions set. I still prefer MCDocs, though.

 

The only addition to any plugin I would love to see is Autorun . Lol just my suggestion

 

Yeah I should have mentioned that I tried that and it just kills Essentials without reloading it.

 

did you try /plugin enable, after you reloaded it ?

 

The restrict isn't working, anyone can use the commands (like /kick or /tp) that I set to true in the restrictions.

For those having issues with people /tping at will etc... are you using "Permissions" as well? If so, forget about the essentials restrictions feature.

I'm still to sort out WorldGuard and WorldEdit to fit them in here appropriately, the documentation for that is so spread out I can't make sense of it...

Additionally, if you haven't make sure you load up the latest CraftBukkit / Permissions and Essentials as available right now. I did mine about 30min ago and all working still.

Restart your server obviously.

 

Did that made sure everything was up to date, redid all the settings removed all my admin powers and still able to do /i /tp /kick etc.

 

Can i get a Tele to exact coords

 

/ban <person>

Can we have a way to limit what is allowed to be spawnd, or a simple disallowed-to-spawn: 7,8,9,10,11 etc?

 

Excuse me if this has already been asked before, but I would like to know two things:

- Is there a command to reload the config for Essentials? Restarting the server works, but I don't want to have to do that whenever I edit the motd, for example.

- There is something funky going on with {PLAYER} in the motd. If player 1 joins, he sees "Welcome, player 1!". But when player 2 joins, he sees "Welcome, player 1!" as well.

 

can i do in a kit that it gives infinity of an item like the /i 50 -1 for example because when i added
an item to the list with -1 it gave me 1 of that item..

Are the commands able to be inherited? Seems like all of the commands aren't able to be inherited in my server.
