    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two.     People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    The problem that I have is that I set the server to single player like with respawn to default world. When you die though you do not respawn to the default world you respawn in the nether. On top of that you can portal into the nether. It will make a portal on the nether side but the portal does not function. So you get stuck in the nether until an op teleports you back.

    Every build past 617 seems to make all the worlds load completely at startup, therefore when my server starts up it gets partway through the loading and runs out of memory :(
    It never did that before, it only loaded the worlds dynamically, when needed. Is this an issue with Multiverse or otherwise?

    First, I want to say that I love this plugin on my server. Awesome work and its appreciated.

    I read through all 80+ pages of this post and apologize if this has been asked recently.

    I was wondering if the 1:1 portal ratio between worlds was set up yet? I cant go through 80+ pages again without going crazy. Again, I am sorry if this was addressed recently, as I obviously missed it.

    Hi, umm i had a question before about not giving me permission to do any of the commands... and i have done everything in the permissions files correctly, but one of the other plugins were intercepting it i guess and didnt allow me to use multiverse.... i did get multiverse to work without the plugins, but cant get it to run with blast pick, craft book, essentials, permissions, and world edit.. Can someone please help me .. to get all my plugins to work correctly? thank you :D

    Wonderful plugin, thanks so much Rigby!

    I am attempting to configure my server to have players pay for their portal use. I assumed my troubles would have been addressed in the forums by now, but it seems most people don't even bother with price! Using portals is not taking money from my players' iconomy accounts.

    My Multiverse.yml iconomy setting:
    #Choose whether or not Players have to pay to use the portals.
    iconomy: true

    My Worlds.yml price setting:
    price: 50.0

    Now, it is my assumption that this price variable indicates the iconomy price of using any portal within that world? If that is the case, I find it odd that every portal I make defaults to a price value of 0.0 in my Portals.yml. I figured this might be the issue, so I manually changed the prices of each individual portal to match the value(s) in my Worlds.yml file. However, money is still not deducted from accounts when portals are used. Is there something I am not doing right here?

    If anyone has functioning iconomy cost with their portals, maybe sharing your .ymls will provide some insight? Thanks!

    Lately I have had some problems with Multiverse.
    It has happened three times now, that my nether world would still be intact on a server restart but would be come a normal world even though when the server starts up it saying it loaded as a nether world but if you use the /mvlist command you can clearly see its a normal world.
    This becomes a problem due to the lighting becoming day and if anyone continues to explore normal world starts to generate.

    No errors except for the lighting 100k when it tries for the first time to changing the lighting of the once nether world.
    Had to create another nether world each time and dump the old nether region files into it, then delete the newly created one as I don't want to start collecting "spare" worlds.

    Also the mobs are still spawning in the nether worlds even though disabled.

    the issue i have with this plugin is if i want to bring a map from lets say one of my Single player mode saves
    i have to:
    1: create a world with multiverse lets say named "world5"
    2: shutdown server
    3: delete contents of the world 5 folder and copy my save into it
    4: reboot and tele to it

    my question is, any way i can copy a world folder into root directory of server and do /mvtp "worldname"

    You need permissions for this plugin to work. But the OP said soon he will be doing Multi Verse 2.0 which will not make it compulsory to use Permissions, just being an op on your server.
    Your choices are
    1) Install permissions
    2) wait for version 2.0
    3) install a more basic plugin called worldwarp v 0.1

    wasnt there a way to make portals with a sign near a sp netherportal ?does it still work ? if yes how? if no why did it get deleted? and any chanze it will get implemented again?
    cause the portal command doesent work as good and as fast as the sign methode

    atm if i want to set price, i must edit the file and restart the server.

    I have the same issue as well. It seems though that the plugin is still working with this error.

    Question, will there be a way for players to use /spawn and go back to the global spawn of the world they are in instead the global spawn of the server?

    Yes, the plugin will still work fine; that's just a warning of something that will cause it to break with a later release of CraftBukkit.

    *update : Manged to fix this issue by renaming the AcientGate.jar to xxxAcientGate.jar to make it run last(atleast after Multiverse) so that the nether world loads correctly.


    ------older post below-----
    Found out what was causing the nether worlds to become normal.
    There is a compatability issue with AcientGates and this one.
    If I create a portal with AcientGates from another world to the nether world, after a server restart that world will be considered a normal world, so all new chunks/area will generate normal world blocks and lighting as well.

    So is there an issue with this plugins causing ghasts to become passive?
    All of the ghasts that spawn in my nether dont attack anybody.

    EDIT: I shouldn't have been such a noob, as always, it was a permissions error, I'm now running 2.6 instead of 2.7 until plugins start to use it properly
