Any donation would be very much appreciated. I'm but a poor University student, and I sacrifice quite a lot of unpaid time to keep the Toolkit updates and support flowing.

Thank you to the following who have chosen to support the Toolkit through a donation:

Where would I go if I wish to allocate PermGen space to my server? Would it be server-arguments=, extra-runtime-arguments=, or what?

    The current build should work.

    Can you pastebin the error?

    jkctech
    In the console.

You need to contact the WebbyRTK developer about this.

    madyoda
Unfortunately no. You'd need to run two separate instances of the toolkit.

    Jurre1996
That may be possible with the current version. As for running multiple servers, that cannot be supported, unfortunately.

I get this error repeatedly every few seconds after using coredump (ctrl + backslash). At the bottom it has ">." insteaf of the usual input lines, and any commands I enter are sent through as normal through the OS/programs, not to RemoteToolkit. eg. .restart won't work, but things like nano do, in terms of types of commands.

Hi, I would like to know what is the best way to start multiple instances of Remote Toolkit automatically on a Windows Server and on a Linux Server. I want them to start automatically when the OS starts and if one instance crashes I want it to restart automatically. So something like a Windows Service or the WIndows Task scheduler on the Windows server.

I do not want any user interaction as well. If the Host OS reboots for any reason I want all Minecraft Servers to be back in a few minutes automatically without any user logging on to the server.

you can enter a new line in the windows registery to start the bat file when the computer starts

  11. Any date for release 11?
Thanks for the awesome work until now!

Do you mean the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key? If you do that does not help because they are run when a user logs on. I want a start when nobody has logged on yet. So if the server restarts because of Windows updates or anything at all it recovers automatically.

if a computer is put to sleep without .hold -ing the server or closing the server in some way, is the server put in danger of corruption or can anything get messed up?

also if backups could be implemented that would be nice!

Second attempt at checking for presence of the RemoteToolkit plugin for Bukkit...
Sometimes I get this when starting the server, and it makes the startup time take 3-5 minutes longer. The plugin's definitely in theplugins folder too.

Nentify For your first issue, if your goal is to do a core dump of the actual Minecraft server, then you will need to run the server without the toolkit. Otherwise, try disabling jline in the wrapper config. For your second issue, that appears to be an issue on Bukkit's end which isn't all that uncommon. I'm not aware of any straightforward fixes.

mmuziek As long as it's eventually binding, then there shouldn't be an issue, hopefully :)

mig4ng I can't say anything for a full release, but an early alpha/testing version isn't far off.

myoblastic Possibly, but I don't believe it will cause any serious issues. Developers are free to develop a backup module for the toolkit. The functionality won't be built in to the core toolkit.

Everytime I try to boot up the server, i get this:

Minecraft Remote Toolkit R10 Alpha 14.5
    Initializing...
    Loading toolkit properties...Done.
Loading toolkit modules...ERROR: Could not load Toolkit Module toolkit/modules/.DS_Store in toolkit/modules: null
    Done.
Wrapper is running on: Mac OS X 10.8.4 x86_64

I'm trying to run adminium with it, so I put the JSONAPI_RTK.jar in the modules folder. I want to be able to shut down or restart the server with it. Anyone know why?

PLEASE UPDATE IT TO 1.6.4 PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE

RichardBob123 That warning is specific to OS X users, and there's not much you can do about it. It doesn't actually affect the toolkit in any way, so it's safe to just ignore it.

Fireman3371 It should work with 1.6.4 already.

    Hi DrDanick,

I have some problems since 1.6.4 with remotetoolkit. I can't connect to the console into telnet when I tried the connection is just closed, and I get this message (in the console, not the telnet) :

    Code:java
    1. oct. 07, 2013 7:27:49 AM net.wimpi.telnetd.net.ConnectionManager makeConnection
    2. INFO: connection #1 made.
    3. oct. 07, 2013 7:28:00 AM net.wimpi.telnetd.net.ConnectionManager cleanupClosed
    4. INFO: cleanupClosed():: Removing closed connection Thread[Connection5,5,]

Have you any ideas about this?

    Thank :)

    Update!

    Release 10 Alpha 15
-Added UTF8 encoding support for Telnet clients.
-Added in-game command to hold the server.
    -Improved support for vanilla servers.
-Fixed a bug where the current terminal would occasionally not echo input after the Toolkit was closed.
-Added documentation for the previously undocumented .forcerestart and .forcestopwrapper commands.
-In-game notifications are no longer forcibly uppercase.
    -Bug fixes.

    NOTES:

As always, this release includes updates to both the wrapper, and the plugin component. MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE BOTH!

Jumpy91 You need to start the toolkit with Screen for any of that to work.
