Plugin category: Admin Tools / General Suggested name: ObserverMode What I want: I'd like a plugin that gives a forth gamemode, "observer." A player in this gamemode has the ability to fly, but cannot spawn items like in creative mode. They also should not be allowed to pick up items, break blocks, or attack players/entities. Players in this mode should have at least the invisibility effect applied to themselves. If the invisibility particle effect can be removed that would be a plus. Also, they should not effect players in any way such as standing in the way, or nudging them. They would be purely an observer to the game. Reasoning: I have played too many games of "The Walls" and when people die, they want to watch the rest of the game instead of leaving. Ideas for commands: /gamemode observer [player] or /gamemode 4 [player]. if it is not possible to override these commands, then /observer [player] would work too. Ideas for permissions: player.setObserver. Set it to false if they cant use the command above. When I'd like it by: ASAP would be nice, we have a bunch of scheduled games coming up. I may try to learn to create these plugins myself if nobody is interested. I know a bit of java, but I know I would still need to learn a lot. Thanks for taking it! Yeah, for some reason I was thinking it was 1-based, not 0-based. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
T3h Cr33p3r Could you possibly just edit your posts instead of creating 2? A real eye sore when looking through the plugin requests
Actually there are already 4 gamemodes. Survival, Creative, Hardcore, Adventure. I know but in an average player's aspect, it is. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
I'm using this on my server as well Also I like how everytime you make a plugin you put "Plugin get!"

We don't allow tinyurl links, much less any link shortener. Removed. T3h Cr33p3r Doesn't matter. Rules are rules, don't try to exploit them. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
T3h Cr33p3r Bukkit doesn't need a link shortening service. If you need to shorten a link, you're either using the wrong link, or you have something to hide. BukkitDev exists for a reason. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
you can set your project to beta or alpha instead of release for a reason. shortened links and unapproved plugin links are both not allowed here, and will get your threads locked, or worse.
T3h Cr33p3r Also, if you continue to post shortened links, we will infract (/ warn) you, and if it continues after that, a tempban would likely follow.
