Hi i am trying to increase the ram of my bukkit server and something is wrong i did try youtube and that is very well not helpful.

i try to add ram and when i start up my Bukkit Server which has no Plugins yet what so ever this is what i get. it's a 64 bit computer. while i also have 64 bit java.

    C:\Users\Blank\Desktop\Do Not Delete Blank Or Blank\Servers\Server Folder 1>java -Xms3072M
    -Xmx3072M -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true
Error occured during initialization of UM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

C:\Users\Blank\Desktop\Do Not Delete Blank Or Blank\Servers\Server Folder 1>PAUSE
Press any key to continue . . .

I am thinking it is my java or it has something to do with my control advanced Settings and this is a windows 7 Computer.

Well you obviously can't give that amount of RAM to Java. Allocate less RAM.

Please don't bump threads when it has been less than a day. Reinstall Java and check the system path. Also, what Java version are you running? Are you running 32 or 64 bit java? Please post your .bat too.
