[INACTIVE][MECH]CommandSigns v0.4 - Issue commands using signs [672]

    So... If I want my builders to spawn items i have to:
    Add CommandSigns to the ops
    Put the permission CommandSigns.use in the permissions.
    Command.Signs.create to create signs or CommandSigns.*

    It's all explained in the first post (I know its quite long though).

    Pretty much like you said but don't forget the '/' in /CommandSigns (its to make sure there can't be a real use with the same name).
    commandSigns.use allows you to use any sign
    commandSign.create allows you to create signs but you also need commandSigns.super to use the /* permission override.

    This plugin is awesome! Wanted to ask if there is any time table on macro support? That will make this extremely user friendly and ridiculously flexible.

    I can't wait.

    Is this because im not on 602 similiar to [the d0ctor]'s reasoning of wanting an older version?

    Well I am using your color one but I can already see some future problems with this... What if a member spams the crap outta the commands and spams chat?

    Then you ban them or remove their access to commandSigns.use

    Is it possible to charge people an iconomy price for the use of a command with the sign command? Lets say charge 50 iConomy Coins for /item pork 1

    Plugin is broke. Sign i used

    [command]
    /rules

    and it trys command "/rules " with spaces so it shows up as unknown command.

    The spaces shouldn't matter. Do you have essentials installed etc?

    ya im having the same issue! the space at the end is causing unknown command

    edit: Habbah could not execute command "/homes ". Does command exist?
    it seems to add a space at the end of every command?

    No, I hate ESS. I use MCDocs for my /rules and this is the same issue I had before. Where if a command was to long like /*clearinventory where it would have to carry over to the next line. This space causing a issue with the command.

    Would it be possible to integrate iconomy or even item cost to signs? This is a fantastic mod for patching different mods together in a balanced way and if there was an ability to spend currency through icon or just in game materials it would massively open the world to things you could do with this plugin.

    [command=i50] for 50 icon money or [command=10 264] for 10 diamonds to use this sign.

    Just a suggestion!

    I agree, as half of people here seems to agree to, but unfortunately edward doesnt seems to care/like this. People are asking this since the begining of the thread, yet he never said anything about it : (

    EDIT: the only, but ridiculous way I make it to have a cost was by adding the turnstile plugin. People pay to enter the room with the sign. It really isnt the best solution for this, but it works on some cases. Yet it can have a thousand ways to exploit that.

    I've never played on a server with iconomy installed. As such, I have no idea how it's supposed to work within a large server. If I don't understand how it supposed to work, I cant anticipate bugs, plan for scenarios or provide decent support when things stop working.
    If you want to code it up yourself though be my guest...

    icon would be nice, but it isn't necessary either way. But the ability to rightclick a sign with a form of currency would go a long way. Like I said this mod is a great way to unlimit users by giving them access to commands they wouldn't normally have and it would just be awesome if we could tie a way to pay for the signs.

    Yes, iconomy is here just to simplify economy on servers, yet charging itens would still do the trick.

    Would you please somehow implement red-stone toggle feature ? This will be definitely awesome plugin with this !

    I just imagine this in my buildings and traps haha :D When u can hide the sign somewhere, so u can evoke any command with button/lever/etc :cool:

    I never said that. Spaces really shouldnt affect anything but I'll see about fixing it if it makes you happy ;)
