/nick problem

Hi everyone i have a problem of changing nicks in my minecraft server if i nick my friend to like for example 'Tom' i can see Tom when i press tab but when my friend talks it doesn't say ''Tom: Hi'' in fact it says his real name can anyone help me.

essentials already has /nick, try disable nicknamer and set /nick again.

 

ty it is now fixed, but i got another problem i cannot /promote someone it will say errror in command....

 

/promote is the only command you're having issues with?
If so, make sure that all the code in your group manager groups file is correct, sometimes there can be a space or something else that's missing and that can cause group manger to be messy.

 

...you are using both permissionsex and groupmanager, you cant run 2 permission plugins at once, choose one or the another.

Line 4: {Everyone}

i didnt put Line 1,2,3,4 this is just my layout

 

the everyone is on the wrong line and {} do not need to be there.

 

so necrodom is it like this
Line1:[Warp]
Line2:Arena
Line3:Everyone
and does E has to be in caps or no?

Yes the warp word went blue but not the word everyone

 

type /ess debug, use sign, paste console.

 

I went to minecraft i did ess debug it just said the version and it says enabled or disabled and i dont get what u mean paste console can u explain it sry

 

Can Anyone tell me the plugin which lets you right click a sign and you join a guild/faction for example the sign says Sealions your name will have [Sealions] (nameofplayer)

 

You can just use CommandSigns

 

Ty one more probelm in my chat of my server i see my name tag doubled like [Owner][Owner] can anyone tell me how to fix it?
