I keep getting Connection Reset in my server log. The plugins I have are:
Announcer, Buycraft, Citizens, CoreProtect, DisguiseCraft, Essentials, Factions, Lift, PermissionsEx, ProtocolLib, PTweaks, TimTheEnchantor, WorldEdit, and WorldGuard.

It's not a plugin, it's usually (badly coded) Minecraft server lists that keep pinging your server.

Find out which IP(s) cause the spam and iptables or firewall them off your system, spam gone.

    Ok thanks.

It is still saying Connection Reset.

Well no it isn't, or you didn't find the IP(s) or didn't block them. Minecraft can't possibly log "Connection Reset" if the connection causing that is blocked on OS level or router/network.

It doesn't show any ips, just Connection Reset I will even post the log if you want but i'm going to try and make enable-query from true to false and see if that works.

    Edit: That didn't work either.

Not your server.log from CraftBukkit, your server's logs. I mean the machine where you run CraftBukkit, or the router and network logs. That's where you can find the IP(s) that are constantly pinging you. That happens before Minecraft even hears about those.

For example, if your server is Linux, you would add an IP with iptables to completely deny any connection from that IP. After that has been done, Minecraft wouldn't even have a clue that this IP tried to connect, and that includes that Minecraft couldn't mention it any longer in the logs as well, a.k.a. the console spam is gone.

Tere isn't an ip for me to block though. It doesn't say an ip it just says Connection Reset.

  8. If you don't have physical access to the router or OS the server is running on, there's not much else you can do about it.

I'm running Windows 7 and using TCPView i could track back what hosts/ip were pinging the server.

Ok and i'm home hosting so I do have access to the router i'll look up the ip and block it or something.
