    Description
    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    Hmm... Could you make a little bedrock box around the spawn point full of lava, and kill off anyone who joins the server, so that they die and go to the proper spawn area?

    I have a little Problem with this Plugin. Everything works fine. I can create worlds and Singleplayerlike Portals.
    But when i use the Portal from the Nether to the normal World i always end up in weird places. Mostly underground in some Cave or Hole. I dont know what causes this. When i use the Non SPlike Portals and link them everything works finde with the spawn.

    #561 breaks this (big surprise, right?), but in theory, it should just break any actions that use the right-click function in this plugin. On my server, I only use this plugin to load two worlds, and I use a different plugin to go between them. Other than this error on load, nothing seems to be wrong:

    I imagine it does. I think GroupManager has a fake permissions thing, so it should trick Multiverse into working. If not, can you remove the GroupManager part and just use Permissions?

  18. currently MV portals you next to the portal (uaually behind), is there a way you can add a loaction entry to the portals file...something like...

    destlocation: w:World:-13.0,67.0,-29.0

    I have a request/question: Is there a good way to make it so you have a worldbased-chat? So for example we got 3 worlds and I want it so people in world 1 can chat only in world 1. I don't want to bother with channes and that kind of thing (I have tried a few and either they are to complicated so you have to sit and explain it for every new person that joins the server or it conflicts with my other plugins). I would really like if this was implemented in to this plugin!

    If you decide to do that it would also be an awsome bonus if there were options like:

    Globalchat worlds: world 1, world 2
    Worldchat worlds: world 3
    Adminglobal chat: true

    Which does that world 1 and 2 can talk with each other but world 3 can only see what happens in world 3 but that everyone in the "Admin-group" in the permission-file can see what happens in all worlds. I think this would really help organizing the worlds.

    I'm assuming you're using Permissions? Go into your config file and make sure everything's set up properly. Use this
    as a guide.

    It actually teleports you to the neared block that's on the same level. (Within a certain area, I'm not sure exactly what that area is.)
    So try making a ditch around the portal, two blocks lower than the portal, but keep the area right in front of the portal at the same level. You should teleport into that leveled out area :B
    Alternatively, build something around the portal, so that one side is covered, and the other is open air. Should have the same effect as above.
    I think it doesn't teleport you into the portals to prevent infinite loops.

    @Rigby90 Is it possible that you could make it for 602 not 600? Because Permissions is currently at 602, and if you're making yours for 600, it doesn't really work out :S

    There's no difference for plugins between 600 and 602, 602 just has a fix in for creature types.

    Plugins are built against Bukkit and not CraftBukkit so it'll work with either of those 2 versions.

    That's probably more related to the game code itself, as opposed to the plugin or Bukkit. It's a well documented 'known bug'.

    I'll be honest with you and say no... I wasn't expecting the RB to be last night and I wasn't expecting so much to break.

    I see no reason to update the old version (Current version you guys are/were using) as I've been working on a revamp 'module' styled version of MultiVerse and swapping back to update the old version would just be a step in the wrong direction and going backwards.

    Most things for the core are complete and usable... however there are some features missing... theres no config converter... So there may be a possibility of things needing to be redone etc... I'd hate to keep people waiting so the chances are the first version of it will lack some features so at least people can have their multiworlds still.

    The ETA can range from any time within the next... 8-10 hours (late night for me) or up to a few days, depends how much I get done tonight and whether I get distracted with work.

    Community can test things and report problems to me and suggest features.

    However if there's any developers that wan't to assist there's GitHub, simple fork and pull requests would be appreciated providing they are approved by me ofc :).

    I've also setup Redmine on my server for people to send in Feature Requests and Bug Reports, this thread is too big and active for me to keep watch and keep replying to, so I'd prefer any requests and reports to go there. http://redmine.onarandombox.com

    If you have a prebuild of this trunk I would be more then willing to test, as for now, I cannot test any of the features without an update to 600, Minecart Mania is our primary version mod at the moment.
