(Tutorial) How to make a colored MOTD for 1.4.2

    if i have this MOTD
    \u00A76MY \u00A71MINECRAFT \u00A74BUKKIT \u00A72SERVER
    where do i put the "&1"

    well u do the symbol and then 1. If u put he color codes then restart it will change to what u have.

    No it will be like this §l A Minecraft Server. That will make the motd in bold and it will say A Minecraft Server n bold!

    if you could help me out by doing it for me with this
    motd=\u00A74\u00A7kMY \u00A76MY \u00A71MINECRAFT \u00A74BUKKIT \u00A72SERVER \u00A74\u00A7kMY
    (that is in the properties)
    i do not get how to do it

    Delete that one copy and paste mine and replace the "A Minecraft Server" with whatever you want your motd to be

    so if you want it bold you can't add color?

    crazydude1700 you can before the bold add §4 for dark red or pick a different color code.

    I get a "?" before my motd. How do you fix this?

    You have to edit it in notepad NOT notepad++

    This solved my issue with the ?
