Hello, I have a problem. I have portforwarded, it has worked for about 2 years now and suddenly it doesn't work! Also it is now saying that my port is closed when my server is on! I have no idea what happend... But still anyone have any ideas? I don't care if I have to use hamachi! But that doesn't work anymore either. Anyone know about this?
    Dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/DENkqmL0
I also don't even care if you have to use teamviewer to try to fix it :/.
Tell me if you need any other info

Was your internal IP address (on whichever computer the server runs on) set to static, or is it pulling an address from the router with DHCP?
What is 'it'? Is it the server that's now saying that the port is closed? Or a port scanning site like http://canyouseeme.org/ ?
What a terrible thing to say... do you kiss your mother with that mouth? :p

yougetsignal.com. I LOL'ed. Reminds me of the late, great, whydoesithurtwhenip.com.

At any rate, there could be something else blocking the connection, perhaps. Have you recently installed a new version of Java? You could have allowed a specific java.exe through the firewall when you first created the server, and the new one is being blocked.

What about at the network level? Any recent changes there: switch ISPs, get a new modem, new networking card on the computer, anything like that? If you haven't already, I'd double-check the port on the router as well. Unbeknownst to you, someone else in the household could have reset the router or something.

Just updated java still doesn't work :(

Nope, didn't switch ISP, had it since I've had this computer, nope no new modem and no new networking card. Nope, just checked the port and asked if anyone reset it, well there's only one person in my house other than me that knows how :p I've asked him.

    I'm clueless

Well, if anyone can help i'll check tommorow. I have to go now

    Do these tests:

    1. Can you connect locally from Minecraft running on the server machine using 127.0.0.1?
    2. Can you connect from another computer in the house using the private IP address of your server?

    dklink750

Yes I can connect through 127.0.0.1

No, I can not if a private IP is 192.168.2.117 (internal ip)

Can you post your server.log file from startup to "Done."?

That all looks fine. I'd say there's still a firewall in the way, or you're using the wrong private IP address. Any messages in the log when you try to connect? And what's the error message from the Minecraft client? "Connection refused" immediately, or "Operation timed out" after a minute?

    dklink750

Takes like 20 seconds then says: Connection refused: Connect

I know, this is the oddest problem... I don't know what's even wrong at all.

Got any outbound packet filtering software anywhere, including the second computer? Web content blockers, other antivirus or security tools, proxies configured? And they're both connected to the same set of LAN ports on the router, or the same wireless network? I'm running out of ideas...

Only have 25565 , 25585, and 25595 Also just disabled my antivirus... which is the only thing I have and I still can't get on :/ This is so annoying, nothing is working.

Can I see the output of ipconfig /all for both computers?

And just to confirm, all we're trying to do now is use the private IP of your server machine to get a working connection from another computer in your house, on the same subnet. If that doesn't work, not much else will either.

didn't know how to copy or paste on it :(

Wow fail I tried to post it in 720p ask me if you want me to re-post it

Can't view; video is private. A screen capture would be sufficient. Or do this, maybe? And a cell phone app might try connecting from the cell network, not your house network, so doesn't tell me what I need to know.
