What is it?:
RenameIt is a Simple item renamer. With just 1 command (/renameit) you can rename an item, or change its description. Full color + format support is in the plugin.

Commands:
(/renameit or /rename)

Permissions:

Color codes:

&0 - Black
&1 - Navy Blue
&2 - Dark Green
&3 - Dark Teal
&4 - Dark Red (maroon)
&5 - Purple
&6 - Gold
&7 - Gray
&8 - Dark Gray
&9 - Blue
&a - Green
&b - Aqua
&c - Red
&d - Pink
&e - Yellow
&f - White
&l - Bold
&m - Strikethrough
&n - Underline
&o - Italicize
&r - Reset (this will remove all color bold etc)
&k - random letters!

Does the name still apply when you give the item to a different person or in stacks? Say you rename a stack of something, does each item of the stack also retain that name?

 

Yes, but items with different names do not stack.
if you drop items, name will be stored.

 

I have R0.2, I shouldn't need a specific build number considering the fact that bukkit releases a new buld just about every 2-3 days .

And, to Pr0Failure what DPOH-VAR is correct, Item Names stay on the item no matter what!

So is there anyway i can rename a iron sword like "Dagger" and every iron sword will have the name dagger now?

 

I'm planning on adding that, but i've been pretty busy latelty.

 

no no take your time, I was just curious if it was EVERY iron sword because every other rename plugin i saw only renamed THAT sword/bow/armor/etc. and not globally for all of them thanks for doing this btw
