Scheduler Question

Hello, I had a question concerning a scheduler.
If I had a asynchronous scheduler running every one minute would it cause lag on
my server that can hold up to thirty people?

 

Depends on what the scheduler is doing. If it's just broadcasting a message, that wouldnt cause any lag.

Maybe not, but probably generating lots of blocks. Anything big, for example, hurricanes

 

a code chancing a lots of blocks causes much lagg because minecraft recalculates the lighting values for every block

 

I was wondering the same thing, hopefully I found this topic ^^
