Quick way to rollback entire world?

    im running a second seerver.its a pirate ship battle with tnt cannons. problem is its a pain to,everytime i want to reset(repair)the map to copy and paste the world folder back in the server foldr.there must be a better way.suggestions?? thx in advance

    Restore from the backups you've been keeping.

    WorldEdit snapshot restoration might help. The only available builds of WE/WG for 1.3 are development builds. Use at your own risk. http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/WorldEdit/Snapshots.

    Edit: Snapshot only does sections of the world, sorry.

    To what end? If you want to roll back your entire world, restore from backups.

    yes but the server machine is not the same machine i play on and its on the other end of the house. its just a huge pain to go and repaste the world back in the server folder

    just install coreprotect (only cus it has rly easy setup)

    then roll everyone back after the fight

    yup thats what iv been doing.wish ther wer a way to turn user commands on and off on coreprotect so when im not on the server i could allow others to rollback

    You can give trusted players permission with a permissions manager, I suggest bpermissions. What if you had several copies of the same world loaded and you just switched between them during games?

    would that not take up alot more ram?

    It does take up more ram, but very little. You can also reduce the ram usage by using nospawnchunks to only load the spawn chunks of specific worlds. You can also keep the worlds "unloaded" but still in the configuration and use a load command to load the other world. This depends on your world manager.
