A new CraftBukkit Recommended Build (1.3.1-R1.0) that provides Minecraft 1.3.1 compatibility is now available.

Important information about this first Recommended Build following a Minecraft update:
The first Recommended Build, as always, is a slightly more polished development build that we're promoting to a Recommended Build so that people who rely on a Recommended Build being available can try out our development builds and decide if they want to use them.

Will plugins break with this build?
Provided the developers of the plugins you are using are keeping up with the development of Bukkit, all your plugins should work fine.

    Download CraftBukkit 1.3.1-R1.0 here

Instead of just posting that, you could just look at all of the OTHER people who complained before you. And "lag lag lag" doesn't help them fix anything.

Im very grateful for the work these guys do, but this is killing our servers.

  9. Do we see many complaints from plugin developers? They're the ones really waiting on the next update, I feel like if they can button up, so can we.

Just wanted to clarify a comment made a few posts back. if the users upgrade thier client to 1.3.2 will they still be able to connect to our bukkit server running the 1.3.1 builds?

I feel bad for both Bukkit and plugin devs - they just get a recommended build out for 1.3.1, most plugin authors finally get the changes in 1.3.1 locked down for their plugins, and Mojang goes and drops 1.3.2 in everyone's laps...

  12. Don't feel bad, feel good. 1.3.1 was not RB material.

I know that you are working hard to get a stable bukkit version out but it would be nice if we get some info's what is going on at the moment. Because some critical bugs on leaky.bukkit.or are still marked as minor and unconfirmed.

Thx. for the hard work anyway.

  20. I'm so glad I understand the terms "development build" and the concept of work in progress. Otherwise I might've updated to 1.3.1 and turned into this ungrateful asshole that bitches about someone's work that they've spent many painstaking hours developing.

Everyone whining, if you don't like Bukkit 1.3.1 then go back to 1.2.5. Simples.

We have the problem that blocks placed by players sometimes vanish.
Players are speaking of disappearing structures or newer parts of them and Items that are missing in chests.
It's like the effect of a LogBlock rollback.
But scattered all over the world.

This has never happened before 1.3.1. So it must be some serious bug...

    We are using CB 2334.

Because, and why do I even bother reply because your 12 year old impatient skull won't understand anyhow, updating things takes time. Releasing a "Recommended Build" is a big responsibility, if it is released too soon and contains too many bugs, guess what happens? Right... People like you start going apeshit because of those bugs!

Also apart from that, 1.3.2 clients should be able to access a 1.3.1 server and vice versa, so the update is not even required!

I noticed there has been more recent Dev Builds on 1.3.1 but why not on 1.3.2 ?

Tell your admin to update dynmap, it should alleviate some of it.

Guys you have to be patient with the team. MC 1.3 introduced TONS of new code that they have to merge and fix by hand.

    Or just use MCNostalgia

EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.

1.3.2 fixed some critical (yet rare) server crash bugs which I would like to see pulled into Bukkit builds as well. Please :D

I understand if it takes time, as always good work and we wouldn't be here without you anyways.

    FrostyWolf: Very good information! Thanks!
    We will update Dynmap asap.

EDIT: We updated to Dynmap 0.70.2 and CB 2338. But now many chunks won't load.
It's nearly unplayable. We will likely revert the last changes.

Hope that Bukkit Team will fix this soon. (if it actually IS a bukkit issue)
