Small update about the chat lagg:
The moment I removed minecart mania and controllerblock, the lagg stopped, so I guess falsebook & these plugins are not a recommended combination.

Have you tried to delete the FalseBookCart.jar and then test it? Because it is only neccessary for the carts.

    About the controllerblock-thing:
I've already been on Servers which use it with FalseBook. There were no problem with it

Hmmm.. could be the minecart mania plugin then..
I never used the falsebookcart because of mc mania, but will try to see which of them cause it.
    [MERGETIME="1299968767"][/MERGETIME]
    Strange, it really is ControllerBlock..
I now only have all falsbook jars, controllerblock and no minecart mania.

I start with controllerblock disabled, and everything just runs very smooth.
The moment I enable cb, things start to get laggy within seconds after such a block is used.
The moment I disable cb again, speed is ok right away.

Yeah I think that this is doable. You are the 2nd Person with that request, so I think I will take a closer look at this.
Maybe I will add an experimental Version of this to my next version.

The Next update will be released tomorrow.
Expect HiddenSwitches and maybe more ;)

Oi I'm doing something wrong. I made a bridge 3 wide out of double stone slabs, put in the signs as instructed by the wiki, but when i right click on the [bridge] sign it says "No bridge found" The bridge is only 9 long as well. Craftbukkit is 527

Nice work dude :) if I wasn't such a craftbook fan i would use this right away :) But i would rather wait for CraftBook itself. But nice to see ig gets the huge attention it deserves :)

Seems to be working great for me.
    [MERGETIME="1299998567"][/MERGETIME]
Well, the boosters function, and the launchers too, but the MAX SPEED for the minecarts CANNOT be changed.

No matter what I set it to, I'll save the text file, but on a server reload this just rewrites the default settings over whatever I made.

So yeah...that being said, neither of these plugins work correctly.

You use craftbook vehicles and you get no boosters.
You use falsebook vehicles and you can't change the speed.

Yeah This error seems to come in a new version of CraftBukkit. Just use the Recommended Build #531.

Are on my ToDo-List and about half-way implemented. Will be in a futureupdate in 2 or 3 Days

I already fixed this Bug in the new update (v.066alpha).
    It will be released today.

    hi, nice work !

are you planning a sorter block like the one in craftbook ?

  17. Offline

    Chekkaa

Hmm, bridges can be made out of any material. Including diamond blocks. Which can be harvested. Yeah.

I do appreciate that you spent the time to make this though, when the creator of Craftbook hasn't been doing much. However, I don't think I will be using this right now because of that exploit (it is one that my members are quite aware of).

    mrgreaper

if you find a member exploiting it ban them, its what we do on our server, exploiting is not tolerated :)

  21. hello i have a plugin called "CraftBukkitUpToDate" and to use this i need the download source of the plugin can you please give it to me thank you

  22. Offline

    mrgreaper

I would recommand avoiding any plugin that auto downloads updates, you should always be aware of what your putting on your server and when you update should always read the change log to see any extra steps that are needed and the last few pages of the topic to check for incompatabilites and problems. I would never use a server that auto updates
Updates take time to do on a server with a lot of plugins but then thats part of being a server admin

  23. it doesn't install the plugins it puts them in a folder and i choose witch one i use :S
    [MERGETIME="1300028355"][/MERGETIME]
ooh and i see in your plugin list essentials but they don't work any more

  24. Offline

    mrgreaper

I stand by my points server admins need to check the forum topic of each plugin not update blind. As for essentials haven't had any issues with it at all

  25. i don't do that i look at the topic if i see that there is an update

  26. Offline

    GeMoschen

I won't implement something like AutoUpdate. The past has shown, that sometimes Updates are not quite good. As said above, there may be big changes in some updates, so that the server can crash (worst case)

The current source is always available in the first post.

At work so can't test till my site quiets down a little but can player be replaced by the name of a specific player or is it just anyplayer? Nice update by the way :) 101 ideas going through my head rightnow

  28. Offline

    GeMoschen

Till now it is only for any player. Will add an extra IC for specified names of players

  29. Offline

    mrgreaper

Cool :) it will be good to be able to have specific areas open up for certain players ( for example a door to where the inner workings of a foundry I'm building I would only want myself and maybe on other to access )

What is the ranGe of the detection? And can it be adjusted?

  30. Offline

    GeMoschen

Yes it can be adjusted. Use the 3rd Line to specify it (see description)
