I swear on my heart, tomorrow I will release bukkitadmin 0.4 which will no longer require mod rewrite, have ban/kick, and possibly manage offline players inventories? *ponders*

It's not released under a license, because it's closed source.

I went to see a movie and it got to late

It's almost ready, I'd just feel bad releasing it because it's still bug-filled.

 

No rush, I'm just giving you a hard time. I'd rather have fewer bugs than have it sooner.

This is odd. I setup everything correctly (in config.php), I cannot start or turn the server off. The plugin page works with all the plugins I installed.

 

The php exec() function probably isn't working then. Is safe mode on?

 

Why don't you check things like that during the installation?

And another thing: The obfuscation of the script kills its performance, but does not really protect the code. Anyone who knows how to use xdebug could decode your script in minutes.

Good for them. It's not obfuscated either, just encoded.

I knew if I released it non-encoded asking for people to pay for a version with unlimited players, people would just hack it. At least this prevents the majority of people from doing that.

Also if you do end up hacking it and not paying for it, then those are your ethics and I can't stop you.

 

Odd, safe_mode is off and I set excute/write/read (chmod 777) for everything in /root/Desktop/ffmc. This includes the root, Desktop, and ffmc folder.

 

Did you do it recursively?

 

I am doing that right now, but I don't know if it will work. I know fr certain that it is not PHP exc() that is giving an error since I ran a test script (I'll send you a link).

I did it recursivley (I know that all folders/files inside my root folder has chmod 777) and it still does not start the server.

FOPO is pretty easy to deobfuscate, I'm not here to burn any bridges though.

 

It is, I even did it myself.

I won't hack anything here, because I'm developing my own CMS and a minecraft version of it which will be OpenSource once they are ready. Atm I'm still at the core functionality.
