Reset gamemode

    I am trying to make it so when a person leaves the server it puts them on survival when they join or the server restart's


    can this be done and how can it

    well plugin authme got that option in config "force gamemode" you can try it but im not sure if that will make you happy since your players will need to register and login

    My server is cracked but I use xAuth

    your server is offline mode not cracked and it have that option in config file so you can just turn it on

    xauth has nothing zo do with it (i think) because its only a authentification programm
    or am i wrong?

    Yes but he said authme you can do that but mainly how can I make it when the gamemodes get reset

    yup thats exactly what to do because when you give them creative and they logg out they get survival back ... i guess

    sorry ZeroZX4 I havent seen the plugin before :)

    i was trying to run xauth once and it did not work for me i think it was the problem with the enchants but what ever
    i just said what ppl i know say about authme i did not say your plugin is bad even so i dont care about it

    what i care i just seen your signature that consolefilter was 1 piece of good ****

    it should be 1 of essential plugins when you start using bukkit

    and you stop to update it

    That can be accomplished with an incredibly simple plugin.

    You probably tried xAuth during my six month absence. Either way, Authme is terribly inefficient, the source is a mess (and looks like it came from a complete amateur), has numerous unpatched exploits, and the developer can't speak English to save his life. On the other hand, xAuth is constantly improving, coded by someone who knows what they're doing, has no known exploits, and English is my first language.

    And I'll update ConsoleFilter shortly.

    you see i dont care if guy who made authme is amature or pro or does he even speak enlgish for me he can be even a virgin as long as his plugin works fine

    and from what i know wen your server have many players and someone is connects to it on your nick than YOU getting kicked and the guy which try connect is connecting without any problem

    and bug like that in authentication plugin make it " looks like it came from a complete amateur "

    thats the reason ppl i know authme is better than xauth but maybe your xauth have better options but for sure authme dont have that bug or whatever

    and dont get me wrong im not trying to insult you i dont know like many of us how plugin development works so we only know how it look from client side

    maybe you should look on it from the same side to understand what i mean cause i understand you well but still im just a user and i care only does it works fine

    winter4w i think mutliverse (world managing plugin) can force gamemodes

    Too bad that isn't a bug, it's how Minecraft natively handles a player joining with the same name as someone else on the server. Authme reverses this, like xAuth used to, but it also opens the door for an exploit where anyone can gain access to any account. This "feature" was removed in xAuth to prevent this exploit. Like I've said numerous times, if someone is using this to kick people off your server, just IP ban them. I could hop on your server at any time, take over an Admin account and completely trash it. But whatever, enjoy your faulty plugin.

    you see you get me wrong

    im not taking authme side and saying your plugin is bad or anything

    i just say that ppl i know prefer authme cause of that bug

    you say "just IP ban them"
    ikd how in your country but in my country like 70% of ppls on internet can change IP with just changing MAC and reseting modem
    even so like 30 % of them (30% from that 70%) have internet from that stupid company which provide internet via special type of modem where they just reset pc or that modem and instantly their IP is changed and guy like that is back on your server with new IP after like 30 sec from last ban

    but thats not the worst thing rest 30 % of ppl here r in (im not sure how to call it in english so i just try to describe it) lan area with 1 servers external IP so like they r in local network where all users/customers of that network are LAN connected and their external IP is IP of that whole local network server IP

    so if i ban 1 user of that network non users of that network will be able to join cause i cant ban his local IP i can only ban his server IP which appear as external IP to me

    and
    "enjoy your faulty plugin" i dont know what faulty mean but i would want to enjoy your plugin if you make it better or at least without that bug
    cause i never know if someday authme wont go wrong

    No, you're the one who doesn't get me. As I CLEARLY stated this "bug" is in fact NOT a bug. Go set up a vanilla server and connect using two clients with the same name. What happens? Exactly.

    Oh well, it's not worth my time to continue deciphering what it is you're trying to say.

    Ok umm this topic isent relly about the auth stuff but I know with AuthMe can get hacked and bypass so I use xAuth because I herd that you can not get hacked by 90% I only saw 4 hackers out of 10000 players on my server able to by pass that


    Now lets get back to the thing this is about so can someone make a plugin that can go do this?

    so why authme dont have that bug ? cant you to same thing with xauth ? trust me i would prefer your plugin over authme since i see you are trying but while authme can prevent joining 2nd player with same nick i cant say its better than authme

    not many of us face serious hackers most of us face idiots that trying to make admin life hard
    i host server for my friends and there are like 5 idiots that try to get on my server and i use only authentication plugij just to prevent the from login on other players nicks so authme can protect me against that and xauth cant if you could fix it i would not see a problem saying your plugin is better

    I do have a request that can you add it is can you make it so it dose't kick someone when they join like it says You have logged in from that location because people do get kinda annoyed when that happens. And also can someone please tell me how to do that gamemode thing
