What is Buycraft, and why does my Minecraft server need it?​

Buycraft enables you to sell in game items/memberships to your community, allowing yourself to fund your server bills to keep your Minecraft server alive. Buycraft is basically an online shopping cart system for your own server!​

How will my players use Buycraft?​

After you have created a Buycraft account, you are given an online webstore which you can use to promote your items for sale. Your players will visit this website and be able to purchase the items that they want, be it a collection of armour, or a monthly VIP membership.​

What can I sell to my users, and how?​

Buycraft enables you to sell ANYTHING to your users, from a collection of armour upgrades, to monthly VIP memberships. When a player purchases a product, it is automatically processed on your Minecraft server, and removes all hassle of managing payments by yourself. All these different options will take the worry out of funding your Minecraft server.​

i tried 3 diffrent computers...mine, my GF and my uncles who lives 1hr away...even made a diffrent acoutn with a diffrent emil same thing....

Something I would like to see is the ability to A: Give away packages and B: Edit your store in game

 

what is the need for either of these. i just see these as pointless features to have. give away packages you can perform with a simple give command and edit your store in game JUST WHY IT MAKES NO SENSE

 

You can give away packages by going to payments overview and adding a manual payment and how would you suggest we could do that?

If the player is not online the package will NOT be executed and will be still in claimable's until they log on, if they are still online when the next package check happens then they will be given the package.

ok so if they say buy like 64 wood and the command if im using default or essentials is /give wood 64. he will get once he logs in or it will just sit unclaimed forever?

and whatever the case may be for either one of those i have to goback to another question i had before where if i have a whitelist membership system. if they cant get on cuz of the whitelist they wont be able to join even thought they bought it

 

1. Every 5 minutes your server contacts buycraft to see whether there are any packages that need to be given, if that player stays online during that time he will be given the packages​

2. At the bottom of the package there is a option whether the player has to be online to receive the package , if you turn this to false then the package will be executed ASAP which means you could use it for whitelisting people​

why is this happening ? payment is working but the items Ranks is not beeing given

 

This is due to you not performing /buycraft reload upon adding a new package.

 

I love it users can get their rank even if they donate when your not online to give it to them, this plugin is so awesome I decided to buy the premium service and I still use it till this very day, you also get a free store that's very helpful.

I don't know if this has been proposed before, but you should consider incorporating Dwolla and Google Checkout as payment methods.

 

Google Checkout is something that will be added eventually. As for Dwolla: It seems very cool to me (especially because there are no transaction fees for micropayments, which most donations will be), it seems to have decent API (but I don't know much about it), and a part of the transaction fees ($0,25 for transactions above $10) will go back to the developer (lmc), which could help fund the Buycraft hosting etc. It's not up to me to decide though, but I hope lmc will consider this.

What thread? Essentials? I looked on essentials wiki and can't find any info on buycraft :/

 

It seems a lot of people dont understand, Buycraft doesn't do the commands it makes the OTHER plugins do the commands

just look for the command to promote users when you do it yourself, then put those commands in Buycraft.

Thanks, It really helps us and in regards to them payment methods due to how much work it requires to implement we are only adding major payment methods - we hope to include google checkout and text2pay soon

 

it will not let me sign in it keeps saying password wrong but i have changed the password on it about 5 times and it wont work

 

As stated in the FAQ in the OP, you are probably using IE, so try using Chrome or Firefox. If that doesn't work, please note that login details are case sensitive (A isn't the same as a).

I would love to see a simple monthly statistic of how much money I received each month. Just that would make me happy.

Here are some more advanced ideas though:

• See how many times a package was purchased
• See most popular package
• See weekly income
