Mobspawners | Seperate Mobs from Pigs?

Is there a way to spawn a mobspawner which is a cow or something rather than pig with something like.. /i mobspawner pig or something? Thanks.

I mean like.. you spawn it, i wanna make it so you can run a command and they get it in their invent

 

u want mobspawner ? or you want just to spawn mobs ?

cause essentials got /mobspawn command

and as for mobspawner u can give ur self mobspawner via /give command from essentials and than just change monster using plugin i listed above

 

What i mean is.. when you spawn a mobspawner, it is instantly a pig spawner right? Is there a way to make it any other mob when you /give it to yourself.

Its not possible.
When you spawn the spawner it checks around the place to see what blocks are there
EX: Zombie's Spawn when mossy cobble, cobble, and a chest is around
Your buddy's are going to have to change it using a plugin when they place it down.
