Im having a problem with Spleef. Ive set everything up. all the other arenas work fine. but for some reason when u join spleef it replaces my red wool with glas and doesnt let us break anything on the arena floor... any ideas whats going on?

 

I am not entirely sure how the point-setting works.
Usually, with things like World Edit, you need to set a 3D cuboid or poly. But on this, you seem to only do a 2D plane.
After setting up that 2D Plane, does the plugin automatically look for the highest Y-block in the region, and assume that this is the set arena?

It actually looks really good, and really simple.
I've also got another question, does it work alongside WorldEdit? Because, I'd like to make a region surrounding this arena, to ensure that people can't build or destroy.

And one final question, is it resource intensive?

I copyed and pasted every perms from groupmanager into pex. then i ran it with both plugins. you have to just add it in

 

Im having an issue with spleef i set it up correctly and everything and when me and my players join it teleports us to a random spot in my other world. Also im using the multiworld plugin and i made it in a world only for arenas and such

 

Anyone know how I can make people spawn with splash potions? I setup a class with tool3=373:16458,1 but instead of the splash potion of slowness it gives me the drinkable version. Anyone know how to set it up correctly? Or if it isn't a feature please make it one! Or if someone knows how to edit the plugin to allow that or something let me know! I made an account for this lol

Can you make it so the players use their own classes as a bounty for pvping? (If I beat som
ebody with diamond armor I keep it).

I also think you should be able to set which mobs spawn each round and the ammount of time in between each round in-game.

Whenever i join my arena we end up on our other world, stuck and bugged. Please add so you can decide in the config which world you want to have it in.

Sorry I couldn't respond, I was in China for the last 14 days. I'm back now though.
I have updated the plugin, if you don't have pex, it will automatically use bukkit perms.

You're correct on your assumption of my points being a 2d plane. I found that that would be the most affective approach for my plugin. My fields protect any block inside the 2d plane you created, no matter what the Y value is.
You don't need to create a region around it however, as my plugin will automatically protect arenas for you (from block digging, placing, and explosions).

I know you're busy, but it's been asked by 4 or 5 people already with no answer. they all had the same problem I am having with mob arenas. It pops up to "please stand still for x seconds" and yet it never does anything. It just sits and sits. Eventually it either says cancelled! or nothing at all.

Any idea?

i have a problem with the mob arena,
is there any way to stop the "default" mob spawn? cause there too much monsters in the arena field.
some infos:
im running CraftBukkit Beta Build 1.2.3-R0.2 (#2060) with some plugins:
-Worldguard (global mob = deny, in the arena it is allowed)
-multiworld (the mob arena is on another world, but its working! only the default mobs are spawning too and thats a little problem)
thx for your work! just one idea: i think it would be easy to use worldedit for seting up an arena so what about implementing it?

You probably didn't set up your arena correctly then.

So what do you want me to do exactly?

My way is easier than worldedit.

 

I've setup this plugin testing with PEX and it works great, only thing is I don't use PEX and I never will. Its promote features are complex and overall I don't like the integration of this plugin with others. Will support for group manager the 99% of the time used permissions manager out there ever be supported or will this fabulously done plugin which I otherwise would have donated for go to waste and never get used on my server? Using 2 perms managers is almost out of the question and I don't for see myself maintaining two sets of permission every time I add something new.

i made arena nearly every thing is working but most annoying thing is that only OP's can join it. If not OP try to join there is a message that they dont have permission to do that. how can i fix t?

 

It should work with Bukkit Permissions now.

You need either Pex, or use bukkits permissions to use it. If it can't find either, you will need OP to join an arena.
